Day 32 rua (two)
I tried to let Mayor Tim know about Ludlow's bullying and was ignored -
I spoke to Allan Arnold and found his attitude ho hum.
He said he never listens to Radio Southland.
"Me neither, but I still wanted a chance. I had nice ideas."
Allan said it'd be easy for me to move on.
There was no offer of scouting around for the identities of the trustees.
Actually, it was not easy to move on. I had a distracting season of several weeks, continually revisiting my efforts to contact the trustees, but just wanting to forget about the ordeal.
This is so typical of our community leaders.
As bigwigs, just because it's a situation which they could easily shrug off, doesn't mean that it's a walk in the park for the next person.
They have forgotten what it's like to be average joe blogs.
They are Elitists.
These are people who rabbit on about mental health and making everything more exciting for the 'sad' youth (check out Sheree wanting more night life), but it seems to me they are not thinking.
What if that were a youth asking for a go at our community access radio?
If so, and looking back, would I have been a youth able to brush this off and end up joining in a mayoral run three decades later?
Well, yes!
I coped with abuse a zillion times worse than Ludlow's bullying.
I'm thinking that's why it is relatively easy for me to call him out.
His character is well practised...
...mine is too.
The Socialists might say that Ludlow wouldn't have turned away a youth.
I think he would have, and that's the scary aspect of this saga.
His character now against my character, back then, would have resulted in his cancelling my voice the same as what happened a few months ago.
There were many Kiwi youths at our Parliament Protest.
Great, servant hearts.
Clear minded critical thinkers.
Respectful of elders.
Hopeful against all odds.
Diligent characters.
Still hurting now.
This is all so typical of our community leaders, including our established media.
Individuals within media consider themselves as the movers and shakers!
Evil doers.
They don't seem to understand that when a little person comes to them with instances of wrong doing or shoddy work, that little person is doing them a great favour.
Clearly, Socialists feel that the odds are in their favour.
It's in their DNA to assume they'll get away with bullying.
They do not belong with All Us Moderates.
We can beat every feeble subset of the old boys network at their pathetic games.
New Zealanders could have ourselves a whole lot of fun in the next decade.
Working hard and playing hard.
