Day 41 #3
I'm like you - I'm not one to complain.
Complaining about Ludlow and Bailey is out of the ordinary for me.
(Taking the mickey out of bad community leaders isn't though, I've discovered.)
Imagine if I were our mayor!
I'd just have to keep up my diary, and you'd have a great functioning council of adults in that room.
Defending myself is not my usual style either, but you won't know how it is unless I tell you -
The ODT has the full video of the sad 'Great Debate'.
The video doesn't portray the rudeness toward me.
There were pockets of serious oppression in that audience.
Evelyn Cook, the spiritual loooong karakia speaker, guffawed one of the loudest at some of my statements.

Sometimes
I look like I've got something in my mouth. It wasn't my tongue glued
to the top of my dry palette, but it could have been if I hadn't chain
sucked on cough drops.
I
blinked quite a lot.
You would too if you'd been given the hard word by Sheree Carey that if any negativity came through you'd be hated forever, and if you'd had to sit beside your tormentor on one side and an unfriendly media favourite on your other.

Near
the end there was discussion about mana whenua.
I indicated at least three times to Scotty that I'd like to contribute to that thread. He ignored me.
I had in mind to share about meeting several Maoris at the PP and what I learnt from their attitudes.
Toni Biddle came across the strongest at the sad debate.
That's fine - I like Toni, but...
...she is for the precedence of Maoridom and that is dangerous.
All Us Moderates know that.
Nobby wants hate speech laws to go ahead.
I had to sit with these so called leaders and cope with silencing tactics when all along I am certain that I am the voice of the Majority.
I am the only candidate who is not talking as though I have given up regarding the serious threat of upcoming reforms. That's because I know we can say 'no', and because I am not complacent.
As a repeat, sorry - Both Ria and Toni endorsed that bully.

Cut me some slack, and I'm sure you could make a great politician out of me.
I'm all yours.
In defending myself, you can be certain that I will defend your best interests.
