Day 54 #2

Has been an enlightening process, this campaign.
Most locals receive me nicely.
But, does our combined energy --- this nonsense must stop! kind of banter --- equate to votes plus influencing others to vote?

I have now worked 700 flyers and plan to have another 300 for finishing off in the coming week.

I hope this will be my last post.
It will soon be time to know whether my song is destined to meld with the community's or whether I must be content to sing solo, again.

I wonder how many locals are aware that my life's vision was previously for a large beautiful youth choir. It still tends to do my head in regarding how 'they' always managed to wreck it in its infancy and to prevent it from growing. Somehow, the old boys' network and their enablers always did. It's best not to think about it. Move on.

I would love to serve our community as best fits my personality. If I got to do that, then many others would too. It's a matter of the quiet Majority having a major win, no less, for once. Right up until Monday the 10th, I will hope for this. We are a young nation. A little hope, for one moment longer, is not too much to ask.

Here are the words of my latest 300 flyers.

Jack's Report Card
School: Community
Class: Wannabe Mayor

Jacqueline has quite happily survived a lifetime of pushing back on the old boys' network,
while loving them ok too.

Jack suspects that her personal stories are ready to meld with public sentiment.

Jack's wannabe mayor status is similar to what yours would be.

Two days before cut off, she registered. Didn't get a photo ready for the booklet. A bit shy.

She has made daily decisions on the hoof - there really was no other way.

Jack is pretty sure that she belongs with the silent Majority.

We are fed up with being dictated to by a nasty lazy grasping minority.

She made a public campaign diary where she gives mainstream media cheek, amongst other things.
allusmoderates.blogspot.com (Best read in doses from the beginning.)

She has participated in the Chamber of Commerce's sad Great Debate, ODT's written interview, the ST interview (video and print), four Southland Express candidate ads, the Southland App, the Free Speech Union questionnaire, the Taxpayers Union questionnaire, Policy NZ (scary nonsense masquerading as instant necessity), has requested more media attention on all candidates' campaigns in this latter stage, has four STOP 3 Waters banners and found places for two, has done a lot of footwork (talking sox off for once in her life) with and without 400 flyers plus more to come (aiming for a thousand).

She thinks she is the only candidate who would not sell you out.

The vast majority of us are deeply concerned about elite Maoridom pushiness and/or enablers of harmful authoritarianism, and useless media.

Jack is ready to fight....for the sake of your children.

She thinks that our museum woes are the least of our worries at this time.

Do you know what happened to the play centres recently?
This is just one of many atrocious examples.

'They' stole our SIT because 'they knew best' - and they still couldn't get their act together.

For posterity - fighting hard, harder and hardest is Jack's kind of fun.

Jack suspects that her servant leadership offer for representing us is probably only for this time in history.

During her campaign it has become clear that we are one small step away from hate speech laws absolutely wrecking our future. With feisty leadership, now, we can prevent this.

Jack says, "I have met a few beautiful older souls during my campaign. It is they, and all the children, who especially deserve to live through the culture change our society desires."

Top marks, if you think so. It's your hope which matters.

(I have three STOP 3 Waters banners up now, although the third is not on a main drag.)

(Forgot to mention the National Council of Women's meeting where I would have rather suffered screeching fingernails on a blackboard.)

(And, the Youth Forum meeting where the nasty bloc of candidates commandeered our hosts to block speech and thoughts.)

(And, I had also filled out the Voices for Freedom questionnaire.)

Here is the progression of my sun shining hat flyers -

The first 200 -
NO RATES RISE ABOVE INFLATION
NO TO THREE WATERS
NO TO CO-GOVERNANCE
We need to disband the Socialist bloc!
Vote Jacqueline Walter for actual change!

The second 200 -
NO RATES RISE ABOVE INFLATION
NO TO THREE WATERS
NO TO CO-GOVERNANCE
They stole our SIT, I will fight harder.
Vote Jacqueline Walter for actual change!

Planning to finish off with 300 -
NO RATES RISE ABOVE INFLATION
NO TO THREE WATERS
NO TO CO-GOVERNANCE
NO TO TRIBAL/ELITIST TAKEOVERS
There is hope. We can turn this corner. Jack fights hardest.
They stole our SIT. Find our non-voting friends - and VOTE.
Vote Jacqueline Walter for actual change!
