Day 25
Where's your story Blair Jackson?

'allus' ~ always
All Us Moderates behave moderately.
We the Majority consistently practise moderation.
If
I could be the mayor of Invercargill and Bluff, I could instigate
nationwide conversations about moving on without the Treaty of Waitangi.
Willy Jackson, the Mahuta corp, and this not my PM have pushed us too far. This is civil war ~
~ It's
a war of words and peaceful action that must be fought in our homes and social groups and
with inter province interactions. Whatever pans out, this issue must be
decided by All Us Moderates.
BTW, there were many brown skinned 'white extremists' at the PP. I got hongied away.
I've
never believed that Maori like being treated condescendingly. Maori
perceive governmental aggression behind all the 'kind' policies and 'our
people' rhetoric. Like me, they're not stupid. They understand how the
trojan horse of culture cum religion hides incoming tyranny. They've already
experienced too much betrayal and they detest tribal elites. Like me,
they are individually traveling along their own pathways of working all
this out. Some are like I was with the Church as a youth - when I held
onto my own thoughts by the skin of my teeth, privately perturbed, feeling very frustrated.
I've
been waiting for the right Maori to irrevocably start this off, but
waiting for any particular Kiwi to lead us onto the right track is
racist and cowardly anyway. There's no sane reason why it couldn't be
me.
The right track is the secular one. It's
that simple. We must absolutely reject the slithery unintelligent partnership
rhetoric and firmly set aside Te Ao from our politics. Taking on this
conversation will unify us in unique possibilities of multiple
harmonies.
It's similar, sort of - just twist it - to how not our PM explains her take on hate speech. 'You know it when you see it.'
All Us Moderates
know that Te Ao/Maoritanga is wrecking our future. Many of us are
muddling through, letting our rights be trampled even so far as an all out attack upon our democracy, because that's how
tolerant people live.
It's true -
Us hulk will win this war via our usual tolerance and quiet resilience.
HOWEVER -
There are enough of All Us Moderates ready to fight very hard
unto winning this war for the common good. We're fired up for this time
in history. We're rearing to go.
Mothers especially are roaring.
Fathers are humbly revealing their humility and intelligence, and embracing their masculinity. Sons and daughters are ready to cease self censoring.
Grandparents are watchful.
Why are we so sure? Because we know we represent the Majority. That's powerful.
All Us Moderates know dangerous nonsense when we see it.
We will fight to get our politics onto the secular pathway.
We will fight to get our politics onto the secular pathway.
We've never before achieved sole secular politics in New Zealand. This is history in the making. Exciting. Hopeful!
If I were already in a public position of responsibility,
If being regularly thumped by religious Group Think had not been the progressive fate of my 'birthright',
If I had victories against the old boys' network under my belt,
If the many but weak Ludlows of our country were not censoring their fellows,
If being regularly thumped by religious Group Think had not been the progressive fate of my 'birthright',
If I had victories against the old boys' network under my belt,
If the many but weak Ludlows of our country were not censoring their fellows,
I
believe these conversations could have by now been winning the day and already
positively influencing our national executive. Instead, we are in a
vulnerable position like never before.
I
suppose there are other local body candidates, nationwide, thinking like
me, and also new politicians contemplating how to get into Parliament.
See?
Even I could be our next Prime Minister. Writing this post shrinks
intimidation. Even I could quickly become our PM and easily learn the
ropes and I'm not the only one.
There
is growing hope for laying down a great foundation during the next
twenty years - during, and after, our turning this corner.
(All Us Moderates branched out of my earlier concept of The Next 500.)
