Day 36

Tidbits of news -

The MC asked,
"Who would you choose for mayor if you were not voting for yourself?"
Toni Biddle and Ria Bond both chose Ludlow.

The audience twittering didn't hurt when I said,
"The whole point of my campaign is that, if we could turn back the clock and I were our mayor, we would have said 'no' to the unnecessary lockdown."

Tidbits of stuff -

My nana used to bemoan how her fingernails somehow were not up to standard for going out, even after cleaning them carefully. I reckon she must have been gardening without noticing.

My dad forbade the use of the word 'stuff'. It wasn't allowed for describing satisfaction at the meal table, nor for saying you were exhausted, neither for using to mean anything, like - "put your stuff over there."
Stuff was frowned upon big time.

When Stuff called themselves Stuff, I couldn't believe it!
Didn't they have dads?

I knew a family who used "thingamajig" in many instances, like -
"Oh you know, get that thingamajig and put the thingamajig over there in the thingamajig."

I thought tonight was a bit of a let down.
I think Socialists and their enablers are just so boring when they're not being nasty.

I had to sit beside Ludlow.
I'm getting better at ignoring people who snub me.

I found Marcus Lush quite a poor communicator one on one.
He was sitting on the other side of me.

Tidbits of disappointment -

The MC wouldn't give me my turn regarding non elected leaders.
I wanted to share about my meeting many Maori at the PP, and what I learnt from their attitudes.

The MC came especially from Auckland.
