Day 42

Yesterday, on air, Michael Laws (The Platform) read out my statement from the election booklet.

The booklet statements were provided with candidates' registrations.
I wrote mine one day after deciding to stand for mayor, and one day before registering.

I'm still happy with my statement, but if I could turn back the clock I would have provided the three main points in my flyer.

No to rates increases above inflation.
No to 3 Waters.
No to co-governance.

I cringed a little when Laws read out about me not being a politician.

Too right I'm a politician now!

I have asked my fellow candidates to tell us all what they think of the mainstream media.
Like me, do they think it is propaganda?
Do they condone our mainstream media? If so, why?
If not, what will they do about the problem?

Are the other candidates ok with our news being coveted by the journos, spun round in their juicy imaginations and served up as candyfloss lumps fresh from their drooling mouths?

I would really like to know whether your other candidates believe Stuff's Fire and Fury.
If not, what are they doing about this grave harm?

Your candidates should be showing you in no uncertain terms what they stand for.

Clearly, Ludlow and Bailey stand for bullies.

If we can get our candidates to show us their own clear lines in the sand, then it will make it easier for you next time if you decide you'd like to have a turn representing us.

Make me the mayor this time, and you're guaranteed to get better next time.
