Day 26

Where's your story Blair Jackson?
___________________________________

Not sure how long I've talked about The Next 500.
Perhaps years now.
My sweet family probably doesn't know either.
It does not matter.
Perhaps forever.

I think we are not at a time in history when we should hunker down in our community groups, 'ready' for the next time an authoritarian government hurts us. A Kiwi community can never be ready for that. And, being poor and incapable of reaching for the stars seems to be just what this not our PM desires. We'd be encouraging her Socialist Utopia mindset if we battened down the hatches.

Community, yes, but that's always been our way.
utopia,
not Utopia.
I say 'no' to community cum more vulnerability, head in the sand attitude.

Our protectionism stance needs to be channeled into national security activity.
We need to be free to always continue honing our community spirit, while shunning communism creep.
Read that as 'shunning communist Creeps aka Socialists'.

A divergence -
See, ODT?
'communist Creeps' with lower case 'c'.
Try following some logic - just try. Read slowly, and apply yourself -

'communism' with lower case 'c', because we are all supposed to feel silly if we get worried about Communist take over.

ODT - notice the capital 'C' for Communist?
That's the sort that China has via their CCP.
We could never have friends and work mates from within the CCP, could we? I mean, to think that way makes one look like a fuss pot (or worse, you wish).

You mustn't get excited, ODT, or you'll lose your Socialist funds.
Stay calm. Breathe.
This is Socialism with a capital 'S', or is that with a 'C' for Creeps?

Explaining Stuff to fools is exhausting work.

ODT - now have a look at my submitted responses to your written questions for our Southland Express (below).
Notice that I was within your word count (I should know - I was OCD about it), and notice the grammar, and don't change my work this time. Don't change my voice into that of one heading into oblivion. You might wish for that, but there are many other Kiwis who need a chance to decide for themselves.

My work belongs with All Us Moderates.
We the Majority are mighty. You are not.

1. What sets you apart from the other mayoral candidates?

Perhaps I am the only candidate to say - that if I had been the mayor, we would have said 'no' regarding mandating and lockdowns. We would not have participated in confusions. Policing by informed consent is our way. The covid science was not settled and the Majority knew it. Our tolerance and good citizenship was ill used by central government. I won't brush the covid upsets under the carpet and I will act upon the ongoing covid issue. I will also lead the conversation regarding the politicisation of climate change.

2. How would you promote function and unity within the council governance team?

I hope the citizens vote for talented and diligent councilors, and disable the political partisan bloc. I would be your social mayor. I enjoy harmonising and team work, and I think I can quickly learn the ropes around the council table and various committees. The most important attributes for your mayor to deliver is the tone, ethics, vision, approachability and availability. I am non-partisan politically. I belong with 'All Us Moderates'.

3. What are your personal views on the Three Waters Reforms?

I do not tolerate politicians saying that we must avoid emotions about all this. My view is formed by the feelings and research of affected parties (all of us). It is widely acknowledged that Three Waters Reform is mostly bad, and atrocious in its delivery. Let's avoid future wasteful debacles of authoritarianism, fear and dogma. Of course, we all want quality water systems. Stop 3 Waters now. Central government bullies lost their chance on the workable bits.

4. How would you promote Invercargill as a place to live and work?

The notion of promoting Invercargill and Bluff by assuming ratepayers' money is very yesteryear. Positive views of the south just happen, because...'All Us Moderates'. We are the Majority, and positively humming. Elite minds harp on about using other people's money, and the frowny hand wringers stall and still do nothing of lasting value. The best thing we can do for ourselves is to vote in happy decisive leaders. No rates increase above inflation. If this promise were to be broken, I'd resign - cut & paste this for your scrapbook.

5. What do you believe the problems are with the existing Local Government Act and how would you fix it?

Fix it? Now you really are asking for a protesting mayor. Protesting is not my usual style - but 'All Us Moderates' are provoked. LGNZ does not work for us locally. It doesn't even work for New Zealand. We must insist on our rights, whatever it takes, peacefully and firmly. Decisive and persevering, rather than complacent waffling along. Fix this Local Government law mongering? Stop the stealth? Absolutely, but shouldn't I be saying instead that I'd like to be our PM?

Fiona Russell, your deadline was 30th August, which I met.
Timing matters.

Imagine if somebody stumbles upon this post and decides that I'm a nutcase for saying I'd like to be our PM. If they don't have time to get to know me by starting from the beginning, that opportunity for All Us Moderates is lost. Our best potential new PM might get waylaid.

ODT - you are bullies. You have the upper hand, with the money of all us quiet aum's, and you know it, and you've known it for too long for this to be excused. I can't stand you. You make the lives of honest go getting Kiwis too risky.

These responses could have been in the Southland Express on the 1st of September. What's the hold up?

Are you intending to publish my work?
Whose desks are my responses languishing on?

Yes, I have a cynical streak, thanks to you nasty Socialists -
Would you give the other mayoral wannabes a heads up about my All Us Moderates work, so that they can step up to the plate I am standing on?
The solid slab I lovingly and painstakingly etched?
You know how it works.
Socialists stop at nothing to grab what they did not earn.
The lazy slobs have no qualms about throwing their weight against a little one.
They steal ideas, then can't deliver them.

As Darryl said, Barry Stewart's letter made clear that media has already decided who they want and who they don't want.

Back to our topic -
I think that the world in general is not poised for irrevocable change at this time.

There is tyranny chasing us, but not widespread worldly bothers concerning us which warrant New Zealanders behaving like we think we can not save our democracy - as though we've already accepted in our hearts that we cannot make change ourselves.

We do have political prisoners in New Zealand and many instances of serious injustices occurring. Our Police and our Judiciary are more compromised than usual, too often corrupt. We do not have free press. Citizen journalists are being harassed. There is intimidation from outsiders and alarming news from without and within.

But, All Us Moderates can conquer.

Approximately thirty per cent of Kiwis appreciated the PP - and that was in the early days.
It's all our 'freedom fighters' who deserve the credit if we manage to turn this corner collectively.
For every person I meet who was there, I learn of two or three more who wish they could have gone.
Yes, many deserve kudos.

But we know that's not how life works.

It's not until you lay aside your need for recognition (in social matters) that private peace comes, allowing All Us Moderates to move on - ensuring that Majority Rules.

Thinking about the next five hundred years generates hope.

Would the adults of our country really relegate our youth to a future take over that we can easily avoid? If there were another five hundred years to grow into, could we have a clear conscience about being the generation of adults to allow anarchy and oppression at the beginning of this new time in history?

The Police force always behaves like a gang, and we need them to be our biggest and strongest. Realistically, this will never change. So, what we need are parliamentarians who understand the machinations and are on top of our Police so they know their place. Easy peasy.

Another divergence -
Two days ago our mailbox was in an accident. The offending car then demanded attention by spinning into the neighbour's driveway, hence the Police were able to accost the driver nearby. Another was dispatched to our place. Darryl said the officer was laid back about it all.

Firstly, I'm thanking my lucky stars that Darryl was outside when the friendly cop arrived. I would not be too happy about answering the door to our Police - not feeling good about them. Hey, don't get me wrong. I could behave normal and all that, but...it's not only my experience with the thugs which is top of mind as I write my diary.

A laid back cop? How nice.
It wasn't his mailbox!
It wasn't his alarmed neighbour witnessing this!

This cannot be explained - but, I'll try -

It was Darryl's job to be 'laid back' about it - if he wanted. It's his mailbox, it's a big part of his life.
No problem. Darryl is not one for a song and dance anyway.

It is not our Police's job to ensure that our citizens become casual about crime and dangerous activity.

What if one of my family or friends were at that moment arriving home?

I feel very badly about our Police. They're losing it. This has to stop.

'This has to stop' via The Everything Protest could be the first slogan of our new party.
If The Everything Protest  concept floats your boat, go ahead.
Us aum's are on the move. We don't sit back waiting for the next rescuer.

If All Us Moderates keep moving, we have a great future ahead of us.
Absolutely, we can form a new major political party in time for elections 2023.

Major is the key.
